detachment is a form of escapism. i want to detach from this friendship but i don't want to escape. i want to help her but i don't know how to. i don't want to give her up, but she's making me give her up. everybody cares about her, but she's too blinded by her hatred that she can't see everybody's virtues. probably, she's just too self-centered that she's oblivious to other people's stares and criticisms, which are all for her own good. i wonder how i can help her. i feel like screaming that "SHE'S C******!!!" and i feel like stuffing a slip of paper into the teachers pigeon hole to say, "look out for this girl, she always c*****. i hate it. i am an accomplice for i let her do what she wants. why does she like to put herself against the whole world?

i hope she wakes up soon, in time for her a levels. we're going to leave her behind and i'm sorry that things turn out to be this way.

yay. someone treated me to crystal jade. i thought the noodles tasted a bit too spicy and it's only the minced meat paste splattered on top of the noodles, so i don't exactly find it special. nevertheless, i should not complain too much since it's a treat. =)

so i bought my stuffs and discovered there's no 20% discount voucher. oh. but i still needed my stuffs, so we had to fork out more money. apparently you will only discover that you have to buy stuffs only after you've used up the vouchers for useless items.

and damn boon lay's bus interchange made me walk to and fro. i have 3 buses which i can take home and they're dispersed around the whole, and i literally mean WHOLE, bus interchange. i swear, i'd just whack anybody's head at that point of time if i missed the bus. nevertheless, my pissy mood came up again and i started swearing in front of everyone. whatever.

elvin ng is so so so handsome. but then, his chinese really needs some polishing. =P

service learning!

i'm so devastated. the ah-ma, whom i was supposed to follow, refused to continue the conversation with me. she kept wanting to find her friends and cel decided to abandon me to follow sharon's ah-ma istead because she's much nicer. nevertheless, i finally get over this damn thing. =D

after service learning, we went to great world city for a free treat from ms sab! =) sharon and i went there later than the rest but they waited for us. how nice of them! =) after that, we followed kirstie home where we enjoyed the cool, gentle breeze by the swimming pool. actually, we're supposed to finish yong's tutorial, but we're too engrossed with enjoying ourselves and bitching around that we slacked the whole afternoon. then, vicki called sharon. =P guess what? she put it on loudspeaker and we copied the answer from vicki! it's so fun. we should do this more often. =)

hong jun yang came to our school. i went in partly because i pitied him and partly to join in the fun. there're so few people there to see him and people started leaving halfway through. nevertheless, he has a great voice and pitches his notes well. probably they should have chosen the ava or lt instead of the cc, maybe it won't look too bad.

today is not my day. the nel broke down when i was returning home and sharon and i only heard the announcement when we went into the station's platform, which means, we had no choice but to take the train. and so, i had to get down at dhoby ghaut to change to the shuttle bus which would bring me to the outram park mrt station. as usual, i don't know where to alight as i had never travelled by bus along the purple line. thus, i alighted at a place i presumed i can take the train. yay!~ i saw the outram park mrt station. =)

wait a minute, there's a shuttle, which means, i couldn't get in! and i asked the person how do i get to the mrt station. he said i'd have to walk from to the other side to get in from the other entrance of the same outram park mrt station. i don't even know where the other entrance was. the journey took me 2 hours.

we're so fascinated by zakum, but too bad, we're not even capable of making him half-dead. =P in the meantime, we can only admire at his majestic photo.

silly me. i didn't look carefully at the date in which the popular voucher could be exchanged and i wasted a trip to je. so i couldn't buy anything because i have to wait till the 27th before i can exchange for the voucher. but still, i managed to buy stuffs from this fashion! =) 20% off, so grab them!

miraculous, i managed to talk to melvin on the journey home. i thought only nonsense would come out of his mouth, but i was wrong. he's a not-bad-person-to-talk-to. and i found this on the class blog where he insisted that he came to school on the racial harmony day.

i really appreciate meena for bringing a sari for me, but it's a pity i couldn't fit in. i'm the only person who didn't get to wear any ethnic costume. nevertheless, i think i manage to hide quite well anyway.


sharon and i were walking and suddenly, her sarong dropped. she's so cute. she said she felt a breeze before she discovered that her sarong had dropped and was exposing her legs and of course, her pe shorts!

no more cca! i like it when lessons are all packed together so that i can leave school early.



the more stressed, the more i feel like running away. when can i be as carefree as them?

today is the listening comprehension. all thanks to that 'tai tai', my chinese has been deproving. thank god it's finally over.

i only knew that i needed the entry proof just 5 minutes before the listening comprehension started because i assumed that since i didn't need it for my oral, i shouldn't need it for listening comprehension. apparently, i was wrong! everybody had the paper with them and i had to run all the way to the staff room to phone for ms sab. as usual, i couldn't find her! i tried phoning 'tai tai' but she didn't pick up. what a frantic prelude. thank god i didn't need it at all.

after which, i had to go for history test. =) lucky for me, they'd only started 5 minutes before i entered, so i wasn't left alone with a scary face and sharon could accompany me to the mrt station! =)

captain ball's fun! i was totally cranky today.

kfc day. =) the person forgot to take out the mashed potatoes when my sis has traded them in for cheese fries, so we gained. =)

i had gotten another belated present. but then, the present is just so awesome that i couldn't bear to fault yan for giving me the present late. it's just so worth it. =) so cute!~ a pair of earrings, a doll, a hello kitty activity book and a candy perfume!


i only slept 3 hours last night because i had a terrible nightmare. i actually dreamt of a ghost. it's just so scary and i tried to scream but no voice came out. i used all my effort to crawl to find my each and every of my family members but they couldn't hear me calling out to them. there was something pulling me back. thus, i tried to wake myself up. it was only at the 3rd try that i managed to wake up fully. it's just too tiring screaming in my heart but nobody can hear me. i never knew it till today.

my last flag day before i retire into the crowds of the public who would be donating instead of asking for donations.

early in the morning, we saw flocks of people, literally. they are really a huge bunch of people! it's the first time i see so many people doing flag day at a single location. sharon and i couldn't even find a place to stand because there're more people holding the tins than donors. so we walked around in circles before we decided to go to another place. it's really a scary experience.

so, we spent nearly an hour waiting for the bus and to travel to clementi. i was surprised there're nobody asking for donations there. =) my tin's so heavy at the end of the day!~ i was so glad.

so many things are happening today!

the biggest thing of all is that, it's yan's birthday!~ happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to yan!~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!~ can you hear me sing it for you? are you touched? don't cry. =P here's birthday cake for you!


the second big thing is my a level oral exam. the passage we had to read was so easy. i guess the difficulty was with the pronunciation and the articulation. conversation part was ok. the usual stammers and all, but at least, they can hear me clearly this time round, unlike the previous time when the examiner told me that she couldn't hear me at the end.

another big thing is jane's harmonica's concert. i'm trying to save money and yan's not going, so i didn't go. but then, i had sent her my wishes. hope she'll play melodious music and won't get embarrassed on stage! =P

last big thing is that jan's phone was lost! some bastard took it. she found out that she had lost her phone after a mere 15 minutes and we tried to call back, only to find out that her phone had been switched off. it's only 15 minutes! poor jan. and so, linda and i accompanied her to eat.

anyway, the good thing was that the person did not have any chance to use her phone for illegal purposes. =) plus, the japanese restaurant we went to was very worth it. it's so cheap but we came out feeling so bloated. they even served us a plate of fried fish, saying it's free for students. =)

such a day.

early in the morning, the stepping down ceremony tickled me. they're there for fame, aren't they?

a teacher said, "don't let a single, recent, unhappy event spoil the survey" and "don't sabotage the survey". apparently, we're supposed to do a survey, and we all know what they mean by the single, recent, unhappy event. they still believe it's our fault in causing the unfortunate event anyway. what can we say? by the way, do they think that there's only one single unhappy event in our whole 2 years of school life?

i can't write explicitly. i'll get sued. =X

cel gave me a photo frame and a candle for present plus a postcard full of quotes. she's the second person who has given me a candle and i wonder if i should burn the candle because i don't know where to put it. but the box is nice. she has this habit of spraying perfumes on gifts which she'll be giving people, and i still recall myself trying to eat the chocolates, with the strong perfume smell, she had given to me for valentine's day. this smell is back to haunt me again. =P

and i've received a letter from my friend in china! =) i'm overjoyed. it's such a happy thing to be able to write letters in chinese and to communicate with people from another country, thinking how much they don't know about our country. i still recall they were so fascinated with our arrivals because they kept claiming that we're 'the first people they see from overseas'. =) so many memories of attending lessons in china. i'm so happy!~ =D

i'm a bit cranky today, or should i say extremely cranky. i lost 6 consequtive games of bridge and i attribute much of the losses due to my lack of experience. nevertheless, i pity those who had to partner a noob like me. =P

world cup has ended and i saw zidane bang his head on the italian player's chest. i wonder what had possessed him to do that silly action which caused him a heavy price.

anyway, it's over and done with. no more late nights and sudden, crazy shoutings at nights!~

no gp lesson, no history lesson, so i could leave early because i skipped pe. anyway, many of them didn't bring the shirt too, so they didn't do pe either. i'm happy because i reach home early!~


i like to kill block octopuses. =D they spawn so fast and drop so many little octopuses and crowns. so cute!!! they give you a sense of satisfaction too! =D

mum has gone to a temple in malaysia to pray. i can't figure out what's so great about the temple in malaysia, but it's still considered an outing for her, so let her be. at least, she won't snatch the computer from us.

and we saw the maple gm. =) i didn't know we can actually whisper to gms. the gm's so cute. my cousin requested to take a screenshot with him and he appeared. he even showed us a weapon which is going to come out soon. he's such a nice person because he gave my cousin increased attack and defence, though we didn't exactly hit any monsters after that. =) OMG! my sis and i were so excited that we're practically shouting and jumping on the bed!

opps. i cooked spaghetti for dinner because my mum wasn't at home. it suck. =P i guess i didn't cook the noodles long enough, but i felt so stuffy in the kitchen as it was raining and i couldn't open the windows, so i couldn't stand it and cheated a bit. =P too bad.

i've finished the first 2 boxes of 'qiang wei zhi lian' and i realised that i've another 2 boxes to go. wah! i should have gone to school yesterday so that linda could pass me the other 2 boxes so that i wouldn't be so bored today! but, whatever, i'm going to study later.



anyway, after hearing all the good points of zheng yuan chang from linda, i do agree that he does look cute, but not my type though. =P

i skipped school today. going back for an econs lecture is a waste of time and the school's actually going to make us stay till 6 plus just for a book talk. so i stayed at home and 'tend' the maple shop for my mum while i played diner dash. i'm supposed to be the waiter to serve the customers without pissing them off. the objective is to earn as much money as possible.



it's a game where you have to stay EXTREMELY concentrated to get through to the next level. and you really have to be organized. eventually, i got so confused that i kept restarting the levels. argh!

our plans are doomed to fail. and i still can't believe that a cinema can function by only screening 2 movies! i hope it collapses soon.

anyway, since we couldn't watch silent hill as planned, we had to look for alternatives. so we went to sing kbox AGAIN! it's gt's frightful day because simhui made everybody do actions for each song. how i wish i can upload the videos here, but to spare everyone from getting heart attacks, i'd better don't. =P

oh. and this poster tried to kiss xiaopenguin. =P

it's my daddy's birthday! yea!

i'm still suffering from the post-exam syndrome. i should settle down again, but linda has lent me a set of vcds to watch. initially, i had wanted to take afternoon nap, but guess what, i actually watched 'qiang wei zhi lian' for 7 hours straight. i'm so glad the dvd player didn't go burst. =) i'm already on the 7th disc. way to go!~

i'm a happy girl today!~ =) there're so many happy things to be happy about!~

1. the only lesson i have today is gp and we talked crap though i thought it did make sense sometimes. the conversations are so hilarious that i couldn't stop laughing.

2. i gave my classmates the fans. i like to give people things and i'm sure girls will appreciate more than guys.

3. there'll be no chinese lessons till next monday, so i could leave school early today! i chased after sharon and jan chased after me! =) it's so funny.

4. no papers were given back, which is good news for me, so it didn't spoil my mood for today. =)

5. yennee has given me a prezzie. =) pooh!


6. i met up with my best friends! this is what i've been looking so much to. i gave them the presents too. exclusively for them only! and i received a present in return. although chuz wrapped the present until it looked like those 'emperor chicken', i love the 'essence' of it. kitty marshmallows and a pair of kitty's earrings. they're so cute! i just couldn't stop laughing.
i'm so so so so looking forward to our planned chalet though i'm lagging behind in savings. don't abandon me!

i've finished buying my mum's and dad's prezzie. =) i think they'll both be happy. we bought my mum maple story cash cards! my aunt said my mum is childish and i agree with her. i really can't stand it but to say that it's so funny! and we bought my dad a cup with coffee coffee on it. the box has the same design as the cup too! it's so meticulously done!


and i've bought small bottles of perfume for amanda and veronica. the bottles are so nice and i thought they suit vic more, but her birthday's over already. =) it's just so fun to go shopping!~

we're back from my grandma's house!~

tiong bahru's market rocks!~ it's so big that i think it's even bigger than the chinatown one. and the slithering road to the market makes people want to puke. but then, the people there are weird, especially the hawkers. my sis and i were queuing up for ice kacang when we saw a weird event. the ice kacang stall is just beside a porridge stall and when a woman walked past with 2 bowls of porridge, the hawker from the ice kacang stall took spoons from the porridge bowls and gave the auntie those disposable spoons without even saying anything. then the auntie must have thought that he was crazy and took back the spoons. i think he's crazy too.

anyway, we saw sebastian from the project superstar. hm. he has a very bright hairstyle.

opg called me today to say that their class's chinese scholars have decided to back out last minute, and his long-awaited kboxing has taken a change of events. ha! and so, we went kboxing for 3 hours. i swear, cineleisure's kbox is not as exciting as other place's. it's so expensive and not worth it. but never mind, we've been in there before, so that's another kbox to strike off from the list.

we went to arcade to play the 'whack whack' as sy has called it. it's so funny!~ opg is a damn lucky whacker. he got everything in by luck. =P

and so, we went to take neoprints. =) the best ever taken because of gt's 'organization' and, of course, due to my pretty face. =P i shall prove it!

they insisted that my scanner is the blurrest of all but i don't think so. i thought mine is the best after comparing it with the ones which opg posted. of course, mine is smaller because i'm lazy to cut them to 2 per row and i want it to fit in my box, so, it's tiny. but then, i can admire my own big and nice photos from my computer. =)
